Transform a signed card into an impossible object-that your spectator gets to keep!

You display both sides of a small printed Instruction Card for "The World's Greatest Card Trick" which you just received in today's mail and offer to try it out with the spectator's help. As you read off each step, the spectator follows the instruction. The instructions guide the spectator to select a playing card from a shuffled deck, sign its face, replace it in the deck and finally wrap the deck up in rubber bands, "magician-proofing" the pack. At the beginning of your card set you display a blue backed deck and place it into your pocket for later. You then remove a red deck and blow everyone away with all your hottest stuff. Effect: A spectator is asked to choose any card (no force) from a freely shuffled, completely regular deck of cards. The card may be signed if so desired. The card is then lost back into the deck. The magician places the entire deck inside the card case and, holding the deck with one hand, begins to concentrate. Very slowly, one card begins to emerge from thhe centre of the cased deck. Little by little it continues to rise until it is over halfway out of the pack. The magician invites the spectator to remove the card completely. Sure enough the card that rose form the pack is none other than the spectators selection!

'Trap-ease' - The ultra visual, highly impossible yet super easy sandwich effect!

Effect: A pair of cards are removed from the deck, let's say the two Jokers for example. A card is freely selected and signed across the face before being lost back into the deck. The two Jokers are shown front and back, there are only two cards and they do not go near the deck. With a little flick, a face down card appears in between them. The card is removed and shown to be the signed selection. It really is as straight forward as that!

A super visual sandwich! A signed card which was lost into the centre of the deck suddenly appears between two blank cards, one of which has a hole in it, as they are waved over the deck. The spectator actually sees their card arrive through the hole! Extremely visual. Easy to do. Resets automatically. Special cards included.

Hole’d the phone
A card is freely selected from a genuinely shuffled pack and signed across the face before being lost into the centre of the deck. A second indifferent card has a hole punched through it. The hole is visibly removed from the indifferent card and thrown into the deck. The deck is spread and the signed card is now face up in the middle of the pack. As it is slowly pulled from the pack it is seen that the hole is now on the signed card! No special preparation. No gimmicks. Can be done with a borrowed, shuffled deck. Nothing added or taken away. A real world stunner!

The Hole Caboodle
A selected card is placed on top of a shot glass and a coin is handed out. The audience are challenged to get the coin into the shot glass, but it’s not that easy, there are some conditions. Whether they succeed or fail a magical solution is presented. A ‘portable hole’ is attached to the card, which then becomes a real, honest to goodness hole, and the coin is simply dropped through the card, into the glass. An extremely engaging, eye-popping routine that is very easy to do.

Each step of the process is very easy to follow thanks to clear and concise text, assembly diagrams and cutting templates, making the construction of the gimmicks simple and straight forward.

Effect 1:

A spectator selects a card from a deck. A corner is torn from the card and given to the spectator as a receipt. The magician claims he will make the card completely disappear and, after some by-play does exactly that! "Do you know where it went?" he asks. The spectators confess that they do not. "Look over there, do you see what's taped to that window?" The spectator turns around to find their selection taped firmly to a nearby window, the corner receipt matches perfectly! "That's pretty weird how I made your card appear there isn't it?" The spectator agrees. "I'll show you what's even weirder though." The magician passes a fan of cards over the selection and it very visually jumps right through the window! The tape is removed and the spectator can remove the card from the other side of the glass! The corner still matches perfectly!

Effect 2:

A spectator selects a card from a deck. A corner is torn from the card and given to the spectator as a receipt. The card is placed face up into the middle of the deck, the deck is bound with a rubber band and the spectator holds it between her palms. The magician leads the spectator to a nearby window where a small 'curtain' bearing a large question mark is seen.

He explains that earlier on in the day he taped a playing card on to the window as a prediction, the tape is seen to be protruding from either side of the curtain. After a suitable build up the magician lifts the curtain and a card matching the spectator's selection is seen to be taped firmly to the window. The magician points out that his prediction card also has a corner missing and asks the spectator to go through the deck and find his face up selection. The spectator finds that his selection is gone! The corner receipt is compared to the card on the window and they are seen to be a perfect match! Here comes the best part:

The magician passes a fan of cards over the selection and it very visually jumps right through the window! The curtain is removed and the spectator can remove the tape and the card, which really is on the other side of the glass, and everything is examinable. The corner still matches!

The magician relates a story about how his Grandfather, a retired riverboat gambler, would always beat him at cards. He goes on to explain that he finally found out the old man was able to win by using a unique marking system for the cards. Removing a red deck, the magician shows that his Grandfather actually marked the cards on the front instead of the back. Peering down at the face card of the deck the magician pretends to be looking at the mark and then confidently announces the card. Shuffling the deck and looking at another face, he announces another card. Naturally, the spectators are unimpressed. They too can easily see which card is which. The magician suggests that one of them try to name a card and is amazed to find the spectator is right on her first try.

At this point, sensing the spectators are unimpressed, the magician explains that he has made what he considers to be an improvement to the system by adding a few extra marks to certain cards, and that these marks can only be sensed by certain "gifted" people. Believing the spectator who correctly named the card to have this instinct, he hands them the deck with the request that they look through the deck and just remember any card they see. Taking back the deck, the spectator names their thought-of card and the magician retrieves it from the deck. Turning the card over it is seen to have a bold black mark depicting the number and suit of the card!

Explaining that since some people have trouble seeing the mark he has taken this one card from another deck and the rest of the cards are turned over, revealing all blue backs!

A multi-phase color changing deck and box routine.

The magician removes a blue deck from a blue box. A spectator chooses any card from the blue deck The freely chosen card is shown to be the only red-backed card in the blue deck.

The blue deck then transforms into a red deck of cards.

The selected card changes into the only blue backed card in the red deck.

This blue card is left on the table.

The magician asks the spectator to pick another selection from the new red -backed deck. The cards is lost into the deck. He pretends that this red selection will also transform into a blue card... but no blue card is found in the red deck. The blue card placed on the table from the beginning is found to be the second selection!

The red cards are placed inside the blue box . For the grand finale, the blue box changes into a red box!

As an added bonus, the trick is instantly reset!

Effect

The magician displays three cards-one with a blue spot and two which have red spots. He explains that the cards are used to play a game of chance, the object being to keep track of the card with the blue spot. If you find the blue card you win a dollar, but if you`re wrong then you owe a dollar. He and the spectators will.

He goes on to relate how he was once taken by the game and shows how quickly he lost three pounds. Every time he thought he had the blue card it ended up being the red! Frustrated, he accused the man of not even having a blue card in his hands, but when it was shown on the bottom he lost another dollar! Trying to catch the hustler again, he stated that if the card was on the bottom it couldn`t possibly be on top, but was wrong again and lost another dollar! In a last ditch effort he guessed that it couldn`t be the center card, but once again lost another pound! His running total was now up to six dollars. Continuing, the performer tells how he told the hustler that he thought more than three cards were being used, but was once again proven wrong and he lost another pound! Being the gambler he is, he tried one more time, double or nothing. The hustler clearly showed one card with a red spot, a second card with a blue spot and stated all the magician had to do was guess the color of the third card. Red, right? Wrong again-the card isn`t red or blue, but a surprise card no one will expect!Comes complete with the three necessary cards printed on Bicycle stock and detailed instructions.

The magician holds a pack of four cards. A spectator is asked to imagine that the magician is holding four kings. The spectator imagines choosing one, let's say the King of Hearts. When the cards are shown...they form a Jumbo King of Hearts!

Five bike-riding jokers are displayed, backs and fronts. One joker-the leader-is put aside, face-down. One by one, the remaining jokers turn over. When the faces of the cards are displayed, they are seem to bear only abandoned bicycles. Where are the missing jokers? The most deceptive bulldog clip ever!

Effect

The deck is shuffled by a spectator and then handed back to the magician, who spreads through it and takes out a card, the identity of which is kept secret from the spectators. The magician then proceeds to fold the card into quarters, with the back outermost and places it into the grip of a bulldog clip. He explains that the card is a prediction.

Now the deck is spread facedown and a spectator is asked to remove a card and sign it on the card's face. The card is returned to the deck and shuffled. The magician now draws attention to the card trapped in the bulldog clip. He places the deck to one side, picks up the clip, which has been in full view the whole time and removes the folded card from it, immediately handing it to the spectator. It is unfolded and seen to be the signed card!
