We are holding a course in magic, aimed at beginners who are looking to gain a good working knowledge of the fundamentals of magic. We will be teaching the technical, presentation and misdirection techniques that are important for all types and levels of magic.
The areas covered will include card, coin, rope, sponge plus the classics of cups & balls and stage manipulation, as well as other aspects of sleight-of-hand. The important aspects of presentation and misdirection will also be introduced and developed throught the course.

Sponge Balls - Palming, Misdirection, routine
Coin Magic - Basic moves, basic routine, sources
Card Magic - Basic self-working trick, basic counts, forces
More misdirection

Day 2:
Introduction
Revision of Day 1
Card Magic - Additional moves & techniques (pass, counts, palming) + Trick(s)
Coin magic - More moves + trick(s)/routine
Rope Magic - Cut and Restored, Unequal Ropes
Basic gimmicks - Thumb Tip etc- Technique and Ideas

Day 3:
Introduction
Revision of Day 2
Card Magic - learn routine
Basic manipulation - cards etc
Cups and Balls - Basic moves + routine + ideas and sources
Thread work - stripping, fixing, handling, different types
Show-off moves.
Magic sources, clubs, competitions etc
