Rama Deck By Owen Packard

You leave the room as your victim shuffles and cuts the cards before taking one and putting it in his pocket. You return and immediately - without even touching the deck - know which card he has chosen. This is like REAL magic!

You hand your spectator two decks and turn away from him. He puts one deck in his pocket and shuffles the other. He takes a card from the mixed deck and hides it in his pants (the sicko). You turn back and ask him to hand you the deck he dropped in his pocket BEFORE he shuffled the second deck. You spread it to show one face down card. It's the same card as he currently has in his pocket!

You write a prediction of two cards on your business card. Your volunteer pushes the card into the middle of the deck. The cards it is touching are taken out and, of course, match the prediction.

The cards are shuffled. You run through them for ten seconds and can then appear to have memorised the order of the entire deck. A guy cuts the pack and turns over the top card and you can tell him which card comes next. And the one under that. And the one under that. You get the idea.

Notice the variety of effect possible? Sound good so far? There's more...

" The cards can be examined - on both sides.

" They can be shuffled and cut by you or the spectator.

" You never have to see their card - even the back - to know what it is.

" No knucklebusting moves required. A beginner magi can operate the RaMa and perform amazing tricks!

" It can be used as a normal deck - no more switching.

" The possibilities are endless. This has been called the greatest utility deck since the "Invisible".

Deep Astonishment II "The Gypsy" by Paul Harris
Everything About Deep Astonishment Has Been Improved, Simplified and Beautified.

You display a leather gypsy envelope and a beautiful old gypsy fortune telling deck. Each card has a fortune printed right on its face. You ask your "client" to utter the name of a special someone to create a relaxed fortune telling atmosphere. Let's say her special name is "Rose."

You then do a short three card reading for your client. The first card predicts good luck. The second card indicates an impending mystery. The third card hints that this impending lucky mystery might have something to do with an envelope. Could it be referring to the leather envelope lying on the table?

You open the leather envelope and remove a small packet of fortune telling cards. Their backs are a different color than the cards you've been using!

You slowly and cleanly deal the cards from the envelope on the table. The first card has a large hand drawn "R" on its back. The next card an "O". The nest an "S". The final card an "E"...spelling "Rose"!

No one says anything for a very long time. Then a single word escapes your client's lips. "HOW?"

NO Cue Cards!
NO Memorization
NO Mnemonics
NO Lead-in Effect!
NO Cards to Hold!
Totally Angle Proof!
Completely Streamlined!
Includes a custom-made leather envelope and a full-color gypsy fortune telling deck! Price: £36

Soft Shoe Monte By Jim Steinmeyer

Soft Shoe Monte uses just three jumbo cards (with the requisite Bicycle backs, thank you very much) to pull the proverbial wool over the eyes of your spectators. Through three phases, though it seems as if everything has been explained clearly and that the rules couldn't be any easier to follow, the money card is never where they expect it. Even when you use one hand and two cards, the spectators are completely flummoxed.

This is a trick that plays huge, packs small and packs a punch. Masterfully deceptive, ingeniously clever and devilishly entertaining, Jim Steinmeyer's Soft Shoe Monte isn't just cheating, it's a complete stand-up routine that makes dishonesty a sure thing.

Dealer's Choice by Nick Trost
A masterful routine of visual magic! Six cards, shown blank on both sides, are dealt out in pairs. As each pair is picked up and pushed through the performer’s hand, winning cards for various games are “printed” visually:
• Two red Threes for Canasta
• The Ten of Diamonds and the Two of Spades (Big and Little Casino) for Casino
• An Ace and Ten — 21 — for Blackjack
The face of one card then vanishes leaving a five-card Poker hand. The hand is worthless, however, but when the cards are pushed through the hand, the Poker hand changes to Four-of-a-Kind! Price: £8

Bigfoot by Nick Trost
In search of the Giant Snow Monster—a great sucker trick with a surprise punch! You show five cards blank on both sides (snow) and a sixth card with a picture of a strange footprint—Bigfoot! The Bigfoot card is mixed in with the blanks and the spectator tries to "track down" Bigfoot by selecting a card. The chosen card is turned over and sure enough, he's found Bigfoot! Amazing! The spectator tries again, and you triumphantly show the face of the selected card stating that the spectator has again tracked down Bigfoot!! However, the spectator points out that it is a blank card!

"I don't know how you missed. You must have gone snow-blind!” you say as you show the rest of the packet is now all Bigfoot cards! Price £8

Toony Angel by Michael Maxwell
A story is told calling attention to the angels on bicycles that reside on the back of U. S. Playing Card Rider Back cards. A spectator thinks of any card in the deck. This cards is placed face up on the table. The deck is now held with the backs toward the audience and the cards are riffled. One of the angels on a bicycle begins to animate, pedaling, waving, popping a wheelie, and riding around the card! All the while, a miniature red card is seen in the spokes of the bicycle. The angel stops, reaches down and removes the card. When he turns it over, it is the thought-of card! Price: £14.50

Twilight Angels By Paul Harris
You display a small "angel catcher" (which to the audience looks just like a small mirror) and hand it out to the audience for examination. You then point out the angels printed on the backs of normal Bicycle playing cards and explain that since angels are made of pure light and that the mirror reflects pure light, meaning you can combine the two to alter space and time.

You place the mirror on the back of the card so the reflection of both angels is clearly seen. As you slowly slide the mirror across the card, a strange "angel zone" opens up next to the reflected angel. Suddenly, the reflected angel is gone! It's not in the mirror or on the card-the angel has completely vanished!

The "angel catcher" is repositioned to display the reflection of the one remaining angel. You slowly slide the mirror to create a second reflected angel. This face optical angel visibly slides off the mirror and onto the card, transforming into a printed angel! You hand the actual printed card with both angels on one end and a blank space at the other!

The card, mirror and even the entire deck can all be thoroughly examined.
Comes with two specially printed cards on Bicycle stock, mirror, carrying case and detailed, 8-page, fully illustrated booklet. Does not come with the normal deck of Bicycle cards required.
Price £10

Monte 3.0 by Gordon Bean
Starting with a bang, the effect builds to a killer climax, After a very clean transposition of a red ace and a black two -- happening right on a spectator's hand -- you'll be holding three cards face down. Though the audience will be convinced that these are a red ace and a pair of black twos, they will actually be three red aces, and you'll be able to deal these directly onto the spectator's hand. No extra cards. No cards stuck together. All fully examinable. And when you put the cards back into your breast pocket you'll be completely reset.

Even though no complicated sleight of hand is required, the lavishly photo-illlustrated instructions will guide you through every moment of the brief routine. It's like having Gordon right there, alongside you, teaching you in person.

The routine continues and a spectator, with a completely free choice chooses two cards in an interesting manner, and the trick continues with even the spectator handling the cards alone. The finale is where the chosen cards have a sequence of mates which have a whole sequence of similarities and matching. Card Warp By Roy Walton A Davenport exclusive and one of the most baffling effects in the history of card magic and it is really weird yet so simple to perform. The card is then pushed through a cardboard folder and as it emerges from the other side is seen to be now inexplicably face up! The spectators can visibly see that half the card is face up and the other half is face down. The effect is now repeated and the third sequence is an effective finale, that leaves the apparatus in the spectator's hands. The playing card is an ordinary one. No extra cards are used, nor are there any difficult sleights to perform and a patter theme about a 'Time Tunnel' would fit perfectly. The 8 page, A5 size booklet of instructions that accompanies the cards you need is superbly printed on high quality art paper and has a rich red art board cover. This is the original version.
