The Pinned Card

This effect is the brainchild of two brilliant French magicians, Damien Vappereau ad Jean Mark Sainclaire. The effect is easy to describe but not the impact which it makes which is truly stunning and will floor any audience. This is an effect for the professional or performing magician who will easily recoup the outlay for this trick. A card is chosen and signed by a spectator. After some magic by the performer, the card is suddenly found to be pinned onto the performer's tie! Medium difficulty. The ingenious but simple gimmick required to do this can also be used for two other effects detailed in the instructions. After the card has been chosen and signed then placed back in the deck, the deck is placed onto a table, flash paper is lit and the flash thrown at your tie where the card is suddenly found to be pinned. A final effect where the card is found pinned to a normal napkin. The latter effects require skilled handling. Comes with an instruction booklet plus the special gimmick system. Price £19

Topit

A Demon exclusive so do beware of imitations. Although listed in the Close-Up section it is an ideal prop for stage work. This wonderful prop was used brilliantly by the late George Davenport, known affectionately as Gilly, and comes complete with a comprehensive booklet by Pat Page illustrated by Ali Bongo. This is a miracle and that is all! It's greatness lies in the fact that you simply make things disappear from in front of your audiences eyes! Isn't that what magicians are meant to do! You can do this surrounded by your audience, at a bar, on stage ... simply anywhere anytime! You can vanish anything from a pack of cards to a glass of whisky! Gilly Davenport often made a tumbler full of rice disappear leaving the tumbler empty! For the price it is a wonderful, wonderful prop that will last a lifetime but beware - it does need practice! Price £11

Bottle Through Table

An astonishing effect. Whilst seated at a table, you show your audience a normal beer bottle, or a soft drinks bottle, and have it passed round for examination. Whilst this is happening you also show them a normal piece of newspaper and then proceed to wrap the bottle up in the newspaper. When this is done to make sure that your audience don't suspect any tricky business you actually show that the bottle is still in the paper and it is clear that you are holding the solid bottle. You now hold the bottle over the centre of the table, you can even show your audience the top, and then suddenly you smash the bottle into the table and it completely disappears. You immediately reach under the table and pull out the bottle unharmed! It can be verified that it is the same bottle that you started with if you so wish. This brilliant effect comes with full instructions. For the serious Close-up performer. Price £21

Ethereal Salt

You show a salt shaker. If you want you can pour a bit of real salt into a spectator's hand. Now you pour all the salt into your fist and without any sleight - the salt vanishes! You show the shaker to be absolutely empty and now cover it up with a silk and in a few seconds you take off the silk to show that the shaker is again full of salt. Does not come with a silk. Virtually self-working. Price £15
