One Handed Shrinking Card Case By John Cornelius.
Like most of his effects it is quick but very powerful in effect. You
remove a deck of cards from its case, and the case immediately shrinks
to half its size! There is no sleight of hand. With practice however
you can perform this with one hand. This new improved version is now
in plastic and allows easier handling than previous models. It is a
cross between the original shrinking card case and an idea by Randal
Whitworth. The case is Bicycle Deck case - does not come with the cards.

Morlas
Car
A card is freely chosen by a spectator from a face down deck of cards and
the card is then cut into the middle of the deck. You have now placed an
unknown card into the middle of a deck. The deck is now spread out evenly
on a table in a slight half circle - still face down. You now produce a
little car. The car is made of clear acrylic material so it can be seen
that there is nothing special about it. However this is a magical car for
it has the power to find the spectator's card. You can run the car forwards
and backwards to show that it is quite normal and it can by handed out for
inspection and even let the spectators play with it. While this is going
on you can straighten the line of cards and even discard a few cards which
you think may be surplus, leaving about 12 or so cards on the table. You
now put the car down at the head of the column of cards and move it over
the cards as if it is searching for the chosen card. After doing this a
few times you now invite the spectator to place his finger on top of the
car and push it along the line of cards. Suddenly the car stops over a card.
You turn over all the remaining cards on the table and ask the spectator
if any of those cards were his chosen card. It is not there. When the card
under the car is finally turned over it is seen to be the chosen card. The
working of the car is very easy and requires little practice. However the
choosing of the card is important and either you will have you own method
or the instructions suggest a simple method. The effect is truly stunning.
There are a few pirate Morlas Cars on the market but the one we offer is
from the original source and is superbly engineered and vastly superior
to imitations. Price £49 |

Dots Impossible Six cards are placed
face-down on the table. A spectator chooses any card and when he turns
the card over, it has a red dot, the remaining cards are shown to have
blue dot. It does not matter which card is selected, it is always the
odd colour. Not Self-Working but easy do do and the sleight involved is
fully explained. Ideal for the beginner but just as effective in the hands
of a pro. Price £3.50 |

Dots Incredible Three cards with
blue dots and three cards with red dots are freely shown. One blue card
is placed between two reds and one red dot card is placed between two
blues. With no tricky moves the red cards are back together and the blue
cards are also back together. The trick is repeated with four cards and
then with only two cards yet each time the spectators are completely baffled.
Easy to do and no sleights are involved. Price £3.50 |

Presto Printo This is an improvement
on Duvivier's sensational card effect "Printing" which was from
the original "Wild Card" by Peter Kane. The effect at its most
basic is that cards which are blank on both sides become magically printed
in a very bizarre manor. This is a complete and spellbinding routine.
Daryl has improved the original versions by using ordinary Bicycle card
stock. You also begin with a packet of blank card stock. The card that
is duplicated is apparently selected at random from an ordinary pack of
cards would give s the illusion that the process would have worked no
matter what card was selected. You will receive a complete packet of special
cards, 11 cards in all. The instructions are detailed and illustrated
and there are some knowledgeable and expert advice given on how to extend
this brilliant routine. Basic card skills are required and this would
suit an working professional or keen amateur. Price £22 |

Daryl's Cardboard Chameleons The faces and backs of six ungimmicked cards are seen to continuously change colour and value in virtually every possible combination. The patter suggests that these are "Cardboard chameleons and they can disguise themselves at will by absorbing their surroundings". This was a feature routine in the act which won Daryl the First place award at the 1982 World Congress of Magic (F.I.S.M.). Only six ungimmicked cards are used, you finish, reset and everything can be examined. This routine is not easy to do and it will require a lot of practice. Not suitable for the beginner. Price £7 |
