Color Monte By Jim Temple.
Three Bicycle poker sized cards are shown ... two have a red spot on
the face, one has a blue spot. You explain that this a gambling game.
If you can find the blue spot you win a £1, if you're wrong, you
lose a £1. You then tell your audience that you are going to show
them how you were taken in a gambling game. You proceed to deal the
cards - and you only have three but time after time as you deal them
you are caught out for every time you think that you have say a red
spot it turns out to be blue and vice versa. In the end you show that
you have lost £14 and the audience suddenly have an ending presented
to them that is totally magical and astonishing. A super effect. A basic
sleight is required which is described in the instructions but it is
not difficult to learn if you have not done sleights before. The cards

Brass Bill Tube Our craftsman has come up with what is now recognised as the most beautifully made BILL TUBE available ... it really is a superb prop. This is no ordinary bill tube, it is a work of art and really so easy to use. For those who do not know the effect here is one routine for your act which is fully described in the instructions with this prop. You take a marked five pound note, fold it up, place it clearly under a handkerchief and ask a spectator to hold it firmly. You now take your Demon Bill Tube which has a plain cap padlocked onto the tube. You ask another spectator to hold this during the miracle. After the count of three, you flick your handkerchief and the marked note disappears! Without touching the Demon Bill Tube, you now give the spectator the key and invite him to open up the tube. Inside he will find a five pound note, and that note will be the marked one! The tube can be inspected and no, the tube base does not have a series of concentric rings, nor are there any rings or marks on the tube to indicate any trickery or faking. It is a solid, superbly made locked tube, with a delightful action. Can be confidently handed round for inspection. Price £44 | |

Checker Chip A Davenport exclusive.
This is not just a lovely new effect, it is beautifully crafted in precision
made brass with coloured inlays and can be handed out after for inspection.
You hold a WHITE poker chip between your fingers in your hand, cover it,
uncover it, and the poker chip has changed to BLACK! You do it again!
Of course the spectators think they have figured it out. The poker chip
must be white on one side and black on the other. Now for the real magic!
You now hand the chip to the spectator for inspection and to his astonishment
they find that the chip has now BLACK AND WHITE CHECKS ON BOTH SIDES!
Where did the white and black sides go to? You only use the one chip!
This effect is completely mechanical and not difficult but not self working.
The beauty of this effect is that the chip can be handed out for inspection
and rest assured - it is the same chip! Complete in its own case and with
instructions. Price £14 |

Coin Through Rubber Let us say now, that
this effect is probably one of the finest with coins that you will ever
encounter. Don't let the low cost put you off, as this effect rates with
the best of them. You introduce a small drinking glass and the mouth of
the glass is sealed by a piece of rubber banded around the rim. On top
of the rubber lies a coin and you are about to perform the impossible.
You place your finger on the coin and gently push it downwards. Suddenly
the coin vanishes and is then heard to fall into the sealed glass. The
spectator can immediately examine the apparatus and will find no entrance
into the glass and the rubber is completely undamaged. There are no holes
in the glass, or the sheet of rubber and there is no way in, other than
by removing the banded rubber and even then ... no explanation can be
found. This effect is self-working and only you will be able to do it,
the spectator can try as much as he likes, but will not be able to emulate
your remarkable feat. This is worth many times the price asked! Price
